Major Scales in Thirds
Play the major scale harmonizing every note with the interval of a diatonic third
Playing scales in thirds means the right hand plays two notes simultaneously at all times - the scale note and the note a diatonic third above it. This builds finger independence within a single hand and teaches you to hear the harmonic intervals that live inside the scale itself.
